Attend the 3rd annual Peace Symposium sponsored by the Arlington Diocese Peace and Justice Commission on Saturday, Feb. 7 at St. James Church, 905 Park Ave., Falls Church, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The theme is “Development is the New Name for Peace.” Father Bryan Hehir from the archdiocese of Boston will offer a keynote address on the need for development despite the financial crisis and why the Church must be involved in such efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss issues of social justice.
